Hello, I’m Mohammed and I’m the clinical lead for our Dermatology service. I have a special interest in Skin Rashes, Children’s skin diseases, Acne & rosacea, Allergy testing, Lesions, Pigmentation problems and Hair loss.

As Dermatology Lead, I’m responsible for overseeing our dermatology service and for ensuring the highest dermatological standards across the organisation. I’m involved in the recruitment of highly skilled staff and provide supervision over the audit processes used to certify the quality and suitability of our services.

My academic career consists of holding Honorary University contracts as Clinical Lecturer, Clinical Senior Lecturer and Professor. Currently, I am an Honorary Professor at the University of Central Lancashire Medical School (UCLAN) as well as an examiner for OSCE, Speciality Board and Medical Doctorate Degree (MD). I was previously the Clinical Lead for teaching medical students and Senior Academy Tutor.

With my vast experience of being a Consultant, Clinical Lead, Director and Academic, I have established the creation of the Clinical Fellowship programme in Dermatology training for Junior Doctors as well as establishing and promoting Nurse-Led Clinics in Paediatric Dermatology, Skin Cancer, Ultraviolet Light, Patch testing, Photo Dynamic Therapy, General and Biological therapy.

My titles I hold are as follows: Doctorate in Dermatology (PhD), Diploma in Dermatology (DSBD), Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians, (FRCP), Membership of the European Academy of Dermatology (EADV) and Formal International Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.

I am a renowned, internationally recognised speaker and Chairman at meetings around the UK and the continent. I have had an array of critically acclaimed medical journal publications that have lead to many research interests and collaborations worldwide.

My personal interests and hobbies involve a love for classical music, traveling, oil painting and football.
